"I was challenged to work harder, play smarter and achieve greatness.  The two years I spent at BC prepared me for a successful collegiate and professional football career.  I am honored to be inducted into the California Community College Athletic Association Hall of Fame and proud of what I was able accomplish as a Renegade.  BC will forever hold a special place in my heart."

George was recruited and received a scholarship to San Diego State University. In his first year at running back, he broke Marshall Faulk's rushing yards and TD records. He held these records until 2016. During that season, he played 5 games with a broken jaw and his mouth wired closed. Due to his success on the field, he was identified as a Heisman Trophy candidate.
