Bakersfield, CA - BC Athletics is saddened to share of the passing of former Renegade Cheer Coach Becki Whitson this last week.

Coach Whitson has been a part of Bakersfield College since 1990. In 2002 she began serving as the head cheer coach until she stepped down just a few years ago. She still continued to remain active on campus until the time of her passing. 

As announced by her family, services for Coach Whitson are being delayed until her birthday this coming summer in 2021 when hopefully all can gather to share memories and stories of her legacy. More details will emerge as that time comes closer.
