Austin Lee

Austin Lee

Austin begins his first season as Head Coach for the women's tennis program and assistant coach with the men’s tennis program.

At the age of 13 he started playing tennis at the varsity level for three years at Bakersfield Christian High School where he earned a league championship in doubles. He was also named to the All-Area Honorable Mention List and Second Team his junior and senior years respectively.

He moved on to play tennis at Bakersfield College and his sophomore year he earned All-League second team with his doubles partner Samuel Ramirez. That same year he was awarded the Ron and Richard Titus Memorial Award. Lee then transferred to Westmont College for his junior and senior years where he played primarily as a doubles specialist and spent most of his senior season performing the duties of Player/Coach.

Austin resides in Bakersfield and believes that BC has an excellent athletics program and is excited to be a part of it for many reasons. The program works hard to have the best athletes, but also looks to ensure that these athletes are performing well in the classroom too. Working with student-athletes at BC is something he is passionate about because going through this program is what he believes made him a better person, not just a better athlete which is what he wants for the student-athletes he works with as well.
