Pam Kelley

Pam Kelley has been successfully coaching at Bakersfield College for over 33 years. She is the head coach of both the men’s and women’s cross country and track & field programs.

She led the 1997 Women’s Track & Field squad to a state championship in 1997. This was Bakersfield College’s first ever-state championship in a women’s sport.

Coach Kelley has been selected for several ‘Coach of the Year’ honors from various industry organizations. She was also the State Coach of the Year in Track & Field in 1997. In addition, she is a 2012 inductee into the California Community College Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in PE and Communication and an MA in PE from University of the Pacific. She also received an MA in Education from CSU Bakersfield.

Pam resides in Bakersfield with her family of 14 cats.
