Women's Volleyball concluded its 2020-21 campaign on Wednesday with a three-game loss at Bakersfield (25-20, 25-22, 25-20).  The Spikers season-ending sweep at the hands of the undefeated Renegades closed their abbreviated campaign with a 3-4 record.  Sophomore Nancy Andrade moved from the back row to the net this year and joined Freshman Middle Hitter Christelle Mouret to power the Cougars.  Andrade and Mouret led ther Cougars with 81 and 78 kills, respectively, which also rank 6th and 7th in trhe State.  Andrade also led Cuesta in Digs (86), while Mouret paced the team in Sevice Aces (16).  Combined they gave the the Cougars a one-two punch, while climbing to the top of the state rankings- Mouret ranks 5th in the State in points per set (3.6), while Andrade is 6th (3.4).
