No. 18-ranked Citrus College kept its dominant play going with a 92-76 victory over Bakersfield College Monday night.

The Owls improve to 13-5 overall, 4-1 in Western State Conference action with their fourth-straight win. The Renegades slip to 9-6 on the year, 1-2 in conference.

Leonard Turner led the Owls with 22 points (9-for-13), followed by Cedric Reed with 16 points (5-for-10) and four steals. Aibigho Ujadughele finished with 15 points and had four steals. Endigo Coleman led the Owls with 10 boards to help Citrus out-rebound Bakersfield 42-to-41.

Citrus shot 55.2-percent from the floor, including 44.4-percent from distance. The Owls forced 21 turnovers and grabbed 16 steals, including 13 in the first half alone. Citrus sits third in the state with 19.9 turnovers and 11.4 steals per game.

The Owls got their first double-digit lead six minutes into the contest as Hayden Dykstra banked in a jump shot to give his team a 14-4 lead.

After holding a 40-24 lead at halftime, the Owls didn't take their foot off the gas and created some more separation five minutes into the second half off back-to-back treys from Turner and Ujadughele, 57-36.

Halfway through the frame, Reed rattled in one of his five triples to give the Owls their biggest lead of the night, 70-44.

The Renegades never gave up but couldn't overcome the 16-point deficit the Owls created at halftime as the home team grabbed a 92-76 victory.

In its last four games, Citrus has beaten its opponents by an average 24.5 points and looks to carry that momentum as it hosts Glendale College on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
