SANTA BARBARA – The SBCC men's tennis team held its home season opener hosting Bakersfield on Thursday, highlighted by a doubles win from Menno Raeymaekers and Arnaud Vangenechten.
A solid performance by the sophomore duo on court one saw it go ahead 7-4 before the Renegade (3-1) team of Lucas Specht and Brett Yackovich came back to make it 7-6. Raeymakers served a high percentage on first serves, closing out an 8-6 win.
The Vaqueros will have their next three contests at home, starting on Thursday, Mar. 2 against Glendale at 2:00 p.m.
