After tying the top team in the conference on Tuesday, Citrus College took on another top team in the Western State Conference-South, but couldn't overcome a 4-0 loss to Bakersfield College.

The Owls slip to 2-11-1, 0-2-1 in the Western State Conference. The Renegades improve to 6-5-4 overall and 2-0-1 in conference.

Bakersfield scored three goals in the first half and tacked on another in the second.

Citrus returns home to host Glendale Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
