Women's Soccer: Owls Pull Through In A Tight Squeeze

Citrus Women's Soccer continued its dominance over the Western State Conference South division when they hosted Bakersfield on Friday, and beat the Renegades 1-0. 

The Owls extended their winning streak to 11 matches, including 10 straight in the WSC south, for a perfect 10-0 record in the tough conference. 

Citrus' loan goal was scored by Berenice Mancinas in the 59th minute of play. The goal was the freshman midfielder's 6th of the season. Monica Perez recorded the assist on the play, her 6th of the year. Goalie Deziree Valdez snagged the shutout win, posting 4 saves in the match. 

Citrus will travel Tuesday to Santa Monica for a 3:00 conference matchup.
