Cuesta Women's Soccer entered its second game of the season fresh off a season-opening shutout over Sequoias to play Santa Rosa.  The Bear Cubs were playing their fifth game of the year and the experience paid off for the visitors.  Santa Rosa jumped out 3-0 in the first half and Coach Bob Wilson said, "They are already on their fifth game, we are not there yet."  The Cougars were stronger after the intermission, taking five of their eight shots in the second half, but were unable to find the back of the net.  They also slowed the Bear Cubs down and allowed only one more goal to make the final, 4-0.  The Cougars, dropped to 1-1 on the season and hit the road for the first time to end this week.  Cuesta is 1-1 on the season.

The Cougars travel to Santa Clarita to play the College of the Canyons Cougars on Friday (3:30).  They will also play at Lemoore next Tuesday (4 PM), before returning home to host Reedley for another Friday home game.
