The game continued to be a scorekeeper's nightmare with BC committing six errors that led to both Burns and reliever Cain Roberts (0-1) being charged with four unearned runs apeice despite striking out nine batters between the two. Walker Frayne pitched the ninth for BC and surrendered one run on three hits while striking out one batter.

Meanwhile, Ventura sent eight pitchers to the mound who collectively doled out 12 walks. BC's pitchers walked only four, and struck out 10 combined.
