Bakersfield, CA – The Bakersfield College baseball team hosted LA Valley College at home on Thursday afternoon in a WSC matchup and came away a 3-0 victory.

The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fifth when Hunter Adams cranked a triple into right field to bring home both Hector Ruvalcaba and Landn Kauk. Will Reynolds then had an RBI ground out that brought Adams home.

The game would remain scoreless from that point and allow the Renegades their 21st victory of the season.  

Nate Ortiz started the game on the mound for BC and takes home the win. He went a full seven innings with six strikeouts and allowing four hits. Gabe Ulloa came in to pitch the eighth and Desi Garcia finished out the game in the ninth.

With the win, BC improves to 21-13 overall and 13-4 in conference.

The Renegades will head to West LA tomorrow for a 2:30pm game against the Wildcats.
