Baseball Nabs Come From Behind Victory Over Mt. San Jacinto

Bakersfield, CA – Renegade Baseball hosted Mt. San Jacinto on Saturday afternoon at Gerry Collis Field and snatched a come from behind 9-8 victory over the Eagles.

Mt. San Jacinto got an early lead on the Renegades, going up 4-0 by the end of the third. BC managed to tie the game at 5-5 at the end of the fifth, before the Eagles took the lead back the next inning. BC would use the eighth inning to come back to tie the game and grab the go ahead run and victory.

Matt Patton led the team with two doubles and three RBI's. Gabe Ulloa got the start on the bump, but Brock Barron (1-1) is credited with the win.

With the victory, BC moves to 3-2 on the Spring II abbreviated season and will start Western State Conference (WSC) play on Thursday (4/29) hosting Antelope Valley for a doubleheader that gets underway at 12pm. The games will be streamed on GoGades.com. Fans are still not being permitted into the ballpark to watch in-person.
