Season Opener Pushed Back To 7pm instead of 6pm

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College Athletics program and staff have decided to push the start time of tomorrow's season opener versus LA Pierce to 7:00PM from the original time of 6:00PM.

The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning over the weekend until next Wednesday for San Joaquin Valley, Coastal Range, lower Sierra Nevada
Foothills, Yosemite Valley, Kern River Valley, Mojave Desert and Slopes, and the Indian Wells Valley.

Bakersfield College number one priorty is to care for all our student-athletes, staff, fans, and our visiting team. Pushing the start time back will alleviate the hot temperatures the students will experince with the sun still being out at 6:00pm.

In addition to notifying the public of the change of time, we would like to remind the community that tomorrow's theme night is First Responders. All first responders will recieve free addmission into the game as Bakersfield will honor the men and women who have put their community first.

Gates will open at 6:00pm and will be live stream at gogades.com
