Men's Basketball Dominates West Hills, Remains Undefeated.

Bakersfield, CA - The Bakersfield College Men's Basketball team hosted West Hills Coalinga in the Gil Biship Sports Center and came away with a big 75-44 victory.

Both teams came out slow offensively to start the game combining for 32 turnovers. The Renegades picked up the pace in the last eight minutes of the half though as they managed to slowly pull away with a 31-17 by the half.

Bakersfield came out strong after the break holding the Falcons to just eight points through the first nine minutes of the second half. Offensively the Renegades kept increasing the lead, by as much as 33 at one point. By the final buzzer, Bakersfield captured their largest margin of victory so far this season.

Leading Bakersfield was both Shannon Wafer and Isayas Arias with 18 points each. Arias added 6 rebounds and 1 assist and Wafer 3 rebounds with 3 assists. Cameron Jarmon added 14 points with 4 rebounds and 1 assist.

With the win, the Renegades remain undefeated on the season at 6-0. Next they will head on the road to face Porterville on Friday, Dec. 6th at 6pm.
