Taylor Signs with Harris-Stowe State

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College men's basketball program would like to announce the commitment of sophomore London Taylor to Harris-Stowe State University located in St.Louis, Missouri. 

Taylor will continue his collegiate athletic career on the basketball team for the Hornets under the direction of head coach Michael Cook, who has been the head coach for 15 years. Harris-Stowe State is an NAIA school that competes in the American Midwest Conference. 

London currently has a 4.0 GPA since joining Bakersfield College.  London is the 70th Bakersfield College Renegade to matriculate to a Four-year University since Coach Chávez joined the Men's Basketball Program In 2005.

"We would like to congratulate London on his commitment to join Harris-Stowe State University. London is very fortunate to be able to continue his education at a very prestigious HBCU institution. Coach Cook is adding a quality student-athlete and high-quality person. London has been a model student-athlete at Bakersfield College and a perfect role model for future Renegades. We wish him great success in his future studies," said head coach Aaron Chavez.
