Bakersfield, CA - The Renegade Men's Golf team hosted the first Western State Conference (WSC) tournament of the year at Bakersfield Country Club on Monday morning. The team combined for a score of 424 which placed them in 5th place.
Individual tournament results for the Renegades are as follows:
Blake Keesey - 78
Matthew Sakowski- 84
Nicholas Chacon - 87
Tyson Hays - 87
Jacob McAllister - 88
Matthew Sanders - 97
Head Coach Wes Coble commented, " First conference round nerves. We need to improve and recover moving forward. We are better than the numbers we posted."
Up next, the Renegades will head to Santa Barbara for the next conference tournament on Monday 2/18 hosted by Santa Barbara City College at Alisal Ranch Golf Course. Tee time is set for 9am.
