Valencia, CA - The Men's Golf team opened up Western State Conference play at Valencia Country Club in a match hosted by College of the Canyons. As a team the Renegades placed sixth out of eight teams.
"Today's conditions weren't ideal but everyone had to compete so there's no excuse for our shortcomings," commented Coach Coble. "I'm the head of this program and I will own our finish and have to better prepare our men for not only the course but the poor conditions. I fully expect to see our men on the top of the board in weeks to come. As the coach, I know their capabilities and have absolute confidence in where we will be."
