Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Men's Soccer team hosted Victor Valley College in Memorial Stadium on Friday evening and came away with a 2-1 victory.

Victor Valley got on the board first with a penalty shot during the first half stoppage time to go up 1-0 going into the half.

In the 47^th minute Jose Lara put the first BC goal into the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1-. Edgar Gonzalez then added a goal on a rebound from the deflection of his original shot in the 57^th minute to take the lead 2-1. The lead stood through 90' and the Renegades took home another WSC conference victory.

With the tie, the Renegades move to 8-4-4 on the season and 3-0-3 in WSC play.

Up next, they stay at home to face Antelope Valley this Tuesday, Oct. 30^th at 7pm.
