Bakersfield, CA - Christian Gonzalez from Renegade Men's Soccer has committed to continue his academic and soccer career at Humboldt State University.

Gonzalez, from Ridgeview High School, played the last two seasons as a defender/midfielder for the Renegades. In the 2018 season he collected six goals with one assist and was named to the 2018 Western State Conference 2nd-Team. In 2019 he had three goals with one assist and was named the WSC South Co-Defensive Player of the Year, the CCCAA South Region Team and the CCCAA All-State Team.

Humboldt State University is an NCAA Division II level school that competes in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
