BAKERSFIELD, CA- The Bakersfield College men's cross country teams assistant coach, Cesar Mireles was named the 5TCTA assistant coach of the year. 

Mireles team took two first place finishes, three second places with the final conference championship meet missing a first place by one point.  The team qualified seven runners to State finishing fifth overall as a team with the highest placer taking sixth individually.
