Bakersfield College Goes 2-1 This Week

The BC softball team moved to 10-7 overall and 6-2 in conference play, after playing three games earlier this week.  After taking a pair of games from LA Pierce, on Tuesday, the Rengades dropped a game to Moorpark on Thursday.

In the first game at LA Pierce the Renegades collected 16 hits.  The offense was lead by Alyssa Gonzales and McKenna Valencia, both going 3 for 4.  Valencia hit a three run homer and also picked up the win.

In game two Zaily Luna went 3 for 4 with two doubles and Alyssa Ruiz was 4 for 4 with a double and an inside the park homerun.  Alexis Solis got the win, while helping herself, by hitting her fourth homrun of the season.

The Renagades host Fresno City College and Mt.Sac today.  BC will play Fresno at noon and Mt. Sac at 4 PM.
