The Bakersfield College softball team defeated San Diego Mesa on Friday night for their first win of the season.  McKenna Valencia pitched five scoreless innings, giving up only two hits.  The Renegades registered 13 hits for the game and Jordan Jimenez, Haleigh Hutton, McKenna Valencia, Naizemarie Ubay and Alexis Solis each had two hits.  Valencia had 5 RBI to go with her pitching masterpiece.  Aryka Chavez had 2 RBI and Solis was 2-2 on the night.
