The BC softball team came from six runs down to defeat College of the Canyons, yesterday at the Dean and Adah Gay Sports Complex. After giving up seven runs in the 4th inning the Renegades found themselves in an 8-2 hole in the bottom half of the inning.  BC scored three runs in the 4th and four runs in the 6th inning to take the lead.  Kylee Fahy (4-1) settled down after a rough 4th inning and held Canyons scoreless the rest of the way.  Offensively, Bakersfield College was led by Alexis Solis who was 2-4 at the plate with a homerun and 3 RBI.  Naizemarie Ubay was 1-2 with two walks and 2 RBI, Jordan Jimenez was 2-3 with 2 RBI and Yesenia Saldana was 3-4 with 2 runs.  McKenna Valencia and Haleigh Hutton each had an RBI and scored a run.

The softball team will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 3:00PM when they host West LA College.
