Riverside, CA - The Renegade Softball team came back to win game two of the best of three CCCAA Southern Regional playoff series Saturday afternoon against Riverside College, but were unable to come up with a victory in game three and dropped the series to the Tigers, 2-1.
In game one the Renegades came back from down 3-1 with a huge four-run fifth inning to gain the lead and go on to secure the victory, 5-4 over the Tigers to even the series at 1-1.
Game two, played directly after game three, saw Riverside come out of the first inning with a 5-1 lead over BC. A lead which they would never relinquish en route to a 5-3 series finishing victory over the Renegades.
With the playoff series loss, BC Softball concludes their season as back-to-back WSC Champions and with an overall record of 25-18.
