Bakersfield, CA - Former Renegade Women's Basketball student athlete Belen Rivera has signed to continue her education and athletic career at Benedictine University Mesa located in Mesa, AZ.
Rivera, a product of Highland High School, finished her sophomore season in the '17-'18 school year after completing a two-year career that began with the '16-'17 season.
"I am so excited for Belen," said Head Women's Basketball Coach, Paula Dahl. "She has such passion for the game. She is proof that through hard work and commitment you can make dreams come true."
Benedictine University Mesa is an NAIA level school that competes in the California Pacific Conference.
