Women's Basketball Edges Reedley at Home

Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Women's Basketball team capped off their first game back on their home hardwood in more than two months with a well-earned victory over the visiting Reedley College Tigers on Saturday evening, 68-63.  

The two teams went back and forth throughout the first half with Reedley taking the advantage into halftime, 33-24.

The Renegades came out with a high energy in the second and fought their way back into the game, edging out the Tigers in the second half to earn their sixth victory of the season heading into conference play.

Dasia Wandick led the team in scoring with 19 points, while Alyssa Gonzalez added 17 points and Julie Hernandez had 13 points.

The team now improves to 6-8 and will next play at Santa Monica to start conference play on Wednesday (1/8) at 5:00pm.
