Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Women's Basketball team hosted Antelope Valley College at the Gil Bishop Sports Center in conference play on Wednesday night and came away with the loss 73-66.
The Renegades pushed the tempo from the first few minutes of the game, creating multiple turnovers by AVC resulting in points for BC. The lead became as much as 11 by halftime.
By the beginning of the first quarter the Marauders had whittled the BC advantage away and took their first lead since the first minute of the game. From that point the lead went back and forth, with multiple ties, before the Marauders maintained the lead down the stretch and came away with the victory.
Leading the Renegades was Dasia Wandick with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists and Brianna Green with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

With the loss, the Renegades fall to 10-15 overall and 4-7 in conference. They will head on the road for their final away game of the season against West LA on Saturday (2/15) at 1pm.
