Bakersfield, CA – Renegade Women's Basketball hosted Antelope Valley at home on Saturday afternoon after a last second win over the Marauders on the road the night before and came away with a tough loss, 55-51.
The Marauders came out of the gate quick, jumping ahead with an 11-point early lead. The Renegades worked their way back to even the ball game at 22-22 at the break.
Both teams battled in the second half, but ultimately Antelope Valley was able to pull out the victory over the home team.
Kathleen Rodriguez nabbed a double-double for the Renegades putting up 12 points with 13 rebounds. Jenna Sampley added 14 points and Brianna Green chipped in 11 points.
Next up, the Renegades will host Cuesta on Thursday, April 1st at 5:00pm to close out the abbreviated Spring I sports season.
