BAKERSFIELD, CA – The Bakersfield College women's basketball team hosted the Glendale College Vaqueros on Saturday afternoon. The Renegades struggled offensively in the first quarter which ultimately hurt them for the rest of the game. BC falls to Glendale, 74-36.
Glendale took advantage of the game early and often keeping Bakersfield from only scoring a single free throw shot in the first quarter. BC outscored the Vaqueros in the second quarter 14-12 and went into the locker room down 34-15.
Into the second half sophomore Elise Enriquez helped her team by scoring most of the points in the third quarter with three, three-pointers. Unluckily BC struggled again in the final quarter only scoring nine points.
The Renegades fall 6-12 overall on the season. BC will play at home on Wednesday, January 18th against Antelope Valley for a 5PM tipoff.
