San Luis Obispo, CA - The Renegade Wrestling team traveled to the Meat Head Movers Tournament on Saturday hosted by Cuesta College. As a team they would come away with a second place finish overall.
Individually, the Renegades placed six wrestlers in top five or higher finishes in their individual weight classes:
- Jonathan Hunter took 1st place at 165 lb. class by beating the #1 and #2 ranked wrestlers in the state in that weight class
- Jordan Annis took 1st place at 174 lb. class
- Adrian Gonzalez took 2nd at 149 lb. class
- Jacob Annis took 4th place 174 lb. class
- Ricardo Gonzalez took 4th in 197 lb. class
- Scott Hokitt tied for 5th place in the 174 lb. class
- Daniel Schoene tied for 5th in HWY class
Up next, they will be at home this Saturday (11/2) against Moorpark for a rescheduled dual starting at 11am in the Gil Bishop Sports Center.
