BC WOMEN WIN OPENER ON STRENGTH OF HAT TRICK

Women's Soccer player running
Odalys Espinoza took it all in stride while pacing BC Women's Soccer with three goals in their home debut victory Friday night.

The Bakersfield College women's soccer team (1-0) won their home opener like they won many matches last season; with the strong support of an Odalys Espinoza scoring outburst.

Espinoza led the Renegades with 12 goals last season, and she poured out three for the hat trick in a 4-0 win over Sequoias (0-3-1) at Memorial Stadium Friday night.

Delaney Boyer was also strong, scoring a goal of her own and picking up an assist on one of Espinoza's net-getters.

BC will play Santa Barbara in game two of a men's and women's doubleheader at Memorial Stadium on Tuesday, September 12th at 7p.
