Bakersfield, CA – The BC Women's Soccer team hosted Cuesta College in Memorial Stadium on Friday afternoon and came away with a dominating victory, 4-0.
The first goal of the match came off an Emily Lostetter assist that Ryan Acosta headed into the back of the net in the 8th minute. Acosta slid another goal past the Cuesta goal keeper and a defender in the 34th minute to put BC up. A few minutes later Drew Hallum scored a header off the corner kick by Emily Teutimez and the Renegades went into half up, 3-0.
In the second half Hailee Sliter scored in the 62nd minute to put BC ahead 4-0. Throughout the game both teams had plenty of shots on goal, but the final score stood at 4-0.
With the win, the Renegades improve to 8-3 on the season. They stay home for their next game on Tuesday Oct. 9th at 5:00pm against Victor Valley City College in Memorial Stadium.
