Bakersfield, CA – Renegade Women's Soccer hosted College of the Canyons in Memorial Stadium on Tuesday evening and came away with a 0-0 draw.

Prior to the game, the Renegades celebrated 'Sophomore Night' by honoring each departing sophomore with a rose for their last home game. The sophomores included: Brooke McDonald, Jackie Garcia, Delaney Boyer, Jackie Zavala, Drew Hallum, Lea Mason, Cameron Jimenez, Reagan King and Emily Teutimez.

The first half of the game was a defensive battle in which both teams saw chances at the goal but were unable to convert. A yellow card against BC in goalie box in the 42nd minute gave Canyons a penalty kick, but the Cougars shot went high and missed the opportunity to score.

The second half proved to be scoreless as well with both sides trading shots on goal without ever finding the back of the net.

With the tie, the Renegades move to 11-4-3 on the season and 3-1-3 in conference play.

Up next, they will travel to face Antelope Valley in their final regular season game this Friday, Nov. 9th at 7pm.
