Hallum and Zavala Headed to the Next Level

Bakersfield, CA - Renegade Women's Soccer student athletes Drew Hallum and Jacki Zavala are moving on to compete at the four-year level after completing successful BC careers. Hallum has signed and already started school at Emerson College this spring and Zavala has signed and will begin school this fall at West Virginia Wesleyan. 

 

Hallum, a sophomore defender from Centennial HS, played for the Renegades for last two years. She appeared in 18 games this season collecting two goals. Emerson College is an NCAA Division III school that particpates in the New England Women's and Women's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC). It is located in Boston, Massachusetts.

Zavala, a sophomore midfielder from Bakersfield HS, played just this last season for the Renegades and appeared in all 20 games. She totaled four goals and five assists in the 2018 season. West Virginia Wesleyan is a an NCAA Division II school that competes in the Mountain East Conference (MEC). It is located in Buckhannon, West Virginia. The WVW Women's Soccer program recently finished the 2018 season ranked #15 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Divsion II Final Rankings.
