San Mateo, CA - The Renegade Track & Field team traveled to the College of San Mateo, host site for the 2019 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Championships. The team had qualified five student athletes in six events and all placed well in their respective competitions. 

Renegade finishes included:

Gabby Lugo (So., Bakersfield Christian HS) - 2nd place in the Women's 1500m Finals and All-American

Zaila Clark (Fr., Independence HS) - 5th in the Women's Triple Jump Finals

Daizhiana Ebert (Fr., Ridgeview HS) - 2nd in the Women's Long Jump Finals and All-American

Jacob Whitby (So. Stockdale HS) - 2nd in the Men's Hammer and All-American

Jacob Whitby (So., Stockdale HS) - 12th in the Men's Discus

Justin Frando (Fr., Highland HS) - 7th in the Men's 800m

With the CCCAA Track & Field Championships now concluded, the season now finishes for both the Men's and Women's Track and Field teams.
