Haney and Smith Qualify for SoCals at WSC Prelims
BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Renegade Track and Field teams headed out for the WSC Prelims and Championships this past weekend at Antelope Valley College. A few athletes punched their tickets for the So Cal Regionals and will not be competing next week in those events this weekend at the Western State Conference Finals.

Tearra Haney won first in the shot put and placed fourth in the hammer throw qualifying for Southern California Regionals while freshman Neshara Smith won both the long jump and high jump giving her rest in those events and will compete in the hurdles this weekend. Lastly, for women's track and field, Isabella Carlone took a fifth-place finish in the 10k giving her a qualifying time for SoCals as well. 

 
 

The Renegades will travel to Moorpark College for the WSC Championships on Friday (4/28) starting at 10 am.
