After defeating Gavlian 25-19, 25-19, 22-25,25-16 on Friday, the Rengades lost a pair on matches on Saturday. Alex Paris led the Renagades against Gavilan, with 18 kills and 18 digs. Jourdon Muro had 16 kills and 12 digs while Haley Sanchez added 20 digs for the Renegades.
In Saturday's first match BC lost to Santa Barbara 16-25, 25-22, 25-20, 18-25, 15-8. Alex Paris had 15 kills and 13 digs, Brooke Horack had 13 kills and Rachel Hoover added 11 kills. Haley Sanchez led the renegades with 18 digs, while Alana Sykes added 16 and Jourdon Muro had 11.
In the second match on Saturday the Renegades got swept by LA Pierce 21-25, 27-29, 22-25. Alex Paris led the way with 12 kills and 10 digs and Jourdon Muro had 9 kills and 9 digs. Haley Sanchez led BC in digs with 14.
The Renegades will be back in action this Wednesday night, when they travel to Moorpark College for a 6:00 PM match. They will return home Friday September 29th for a 6:00 PM match against Glendale College.
