The Renegades defeated #3 ranked College of the Canyons last night (23-25, 16-25, 25-22, 25-22, 16-14), to move into a first place tie, with Canyons. After falling behind two sets the Renegades won the last three sets to get the victory. This win was a total team effort and the Renegades were led by Alex Paris (15 kills and 12 digs), Sarah Armendariz (22 assists and 11 kills), Brooke Horack (11 kills), Haley Sanchez (19 digs) and Reece Stevenson (29 set assists). "This was an absolutely incredible match and the team played with the grit and determination of a champion" said coach Carl Ferreira of his teams win.
The women's volleyball team will be back in action this Friday at 6:00 PM, when they host West LA in the final regular season, home match of the season.
