Bakersfield, CA - Penelope Zepeda continued to haul in the post-season awards after the conclusion of the 2019 regular season. After already being named the WSC South Conference - Player of the Year, Zepeda also received the following three recognitions:

2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) 2nd Team All-American

2019 California Community College Athletics Association 1st Team All-State

2019 Southern California 1st-team All-State

Zepeda and Renegade Volleyball will face off against Chaffey College in the first round of the CCCAA SoCal State playoffs this Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 6pm in the Gil Bishop Sports Center. The game will be streamed live on Facebook on the 'Bakersfield College Athletics' Facebook page.
