In the first set BC jumped out to almost a quick double digit lead, but the Coyotes fought back and made the Renegades work to finish off the first set, 25-17 and take a quick 1-0 lead. The second set followed a similar story, yet ultimately the Renegades prevailed.
The third set started off much closer with each team exchanging points before the Renegades poured on the offense and pulled away from the Coyotes for a 25-13 set win and match sweep. BC controlled the match from the opening serve and didn't fall behind Cerro Coso at any point.
Leading the Renegades tonight was Alyson Dees with 10 kills and six digs. Emily Clark added eight kills with two digs and Anaid Naranjo had six kills and nine digs.
Tomorrow the Renegades will travel to play at Cerro Coso at 5pm. Next week they host Taft College on Thursday (3/18) and then turn around to play the Cougars on the road on Friday (3/19). Check the Volleyball schedule for live-stream links.
