Bakersfield, CA – Renegade Volleyball hosted Cuesta Wednesday night in the Gil Bishop Sports center and came away with their ninth victory of the season, 3-0 over the Cougars.
The Renegades bounced out to a quick lead in the first set, but the Cougars would make them fight for the opening-set win, 25-20. The second set started out going point for point with the Renegades eventually pulling away for the 25-22 second set win.
The Cougars would not go away in the final set and made the Renegades come from behind to close out the set and clinch the victory.
With today's result, the Renegades finish the abbreviated Spring I sports season a perfect 9-0 -complete with seven 3-0 sweeps. In total, they only gave up two sets the entire season.
