Women's Wrestling End First Season with an All-American

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College women's wrestling competed at the inaugural CCCAA Women's Wrestling State Championship in Norwalk, CA at Cerritos College. Ten CCCAA teams competed and although the team did not have a full team competing in the tournament for each weight class, they did have three placers including a first All-American. 

Chloe Espericueta competed at 123 and placed 6th. 

Diana Cardenas competed at 160 and placed 6th. 

Galilea Chavez grabbed a second-place finish securing an All-American title for the first championship. 

BC hopes to continue on their first-year success and bring on new recruits for next season.
