BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College baseball team wrapped up its three-game conference series against Citrus College with an impressive 8–2 victory on Friday at Gerry Collis Field, highlighted by another home run from Landon McDonald, who continues to climb toward the program's single-season home run record.

McDonald launched his 11th home run of the season, moving him within striking distance of the Bakersfield College single-season record of 12. The sophomore outfielder finished the game 2-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI, and a walk, helping lead a powerful offensive performance by the Renegades.

Bakersfield pounded out 19 hits in the finale. Jordan Mora led the charge with three hits and an RBI, while Jordan Brito added two hits, including a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI. Brady Baird contributed two hits, including a double and triple, with an RBI, and Santiago Blanco, Luke Camps, Tryce Spainhoward, and Luke Shaw each recorded multiple hits in the win.

On the mound, Chance Gerecke delivered a complete-game performance, throwing nine innings while allowing just two runs on nine hits and striking out four to earn the victory.
