Bakersfield College Announces Free Admission to All 2025 Home Games at Memorial Stadium in Celebration of 70 Years
BAKERSFIELD, Calif – Bakersfield College is proud to announce that admission to all 2025 Renegade home games at Memorial Stadium will be free for the entire season. This special initiative is part of the College's celebration of Memorial Stadium's 70th anniversary and a way of giving back to the community that has supported the Renegades for generations.
Since opening in 1955, Memorial Stadium has been more than just a venue; it has been a gathering place where families, alumni, students, and fans have cheered on countless unforgettable moments. Seventy years later, Bakersfield College is honoring that tradition by opening the gates to everyone, ensuring that the entire community can take part in the excitement of Renegade football.
As part of this initiative, the stadium's red seats will now be designated as reserved seating only with no fee. Fans who have previously reserved their red seats will continue to have those seats honored at no cost. Going forward, fans will need to reserve their specific seats using the Memorial Stadium seating map. While no payment is required, the traditional $35 donation to support BC Athletics is still welcomed and encouraged.
"This 70th anniversary season is a chance to celebrate everything Memorial Stadium represents: tradition, teamwork, and community spirit," said Ayanna Tweedy, Interim Athletics Director. "We're proud to invite everyone to be part of that celebration by joining us for Renegade football all season long."
Fans are encouraged to bring their families, reconnect with friends, and be part of history as Bakersfield College celebrates 70 years of community, tradition, and excellence at Memorial Stadium.
