BAKERSFIELD, CA — The Bakersfield College athletics program is proud to announce that two standout swimmers from the Renegades men's swim team will continue their athletic and academic careers at four-year universities.

Cody Hart, the 2025 3C2A State Champion in the 50-yard freestyle, has signed with Carson-Newman Christian University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Hart had a remarkable season for the Renegades, securing multiple podium finishes and establishing himself as one of the fastest sprinters in the state.

Joining him is William Horrisberger, who will take his talents to Saint Peter's University in Jersey City, New Jersey. Horrisberger contributed key performances throughout the season, helping lead the Renegades in competitive meets.

Bakersfield College men's swimming continues to build on its tradition of producing elite student-athletes who excel both in the pool and in the classroom.
