BC Men's Track and Field Compete at Moorpark

MOORPARK, CA - The Bakersfield College men's track and field team traveled to Moorpark College for its second meet of the season. The Renegades highlighted a few personal records across sprints, distance, and field events.

Freshman Aiden Nicholson led the sprinters with a 7.23 in the 60 meters and added in the 150 (17.33). In the middle distances, Adrian Rodriguez ran 1:30.95 in the 600, and Daniel Cuevas and Edgar Gil paced the 1,500 with strong efforts.

In the field events, Mason Level had an outstanding meet, placing third in the hammer (46.81m PR) and fifth in the javelin (37.83m PR), while also competing in the discus. Donavan Garcia led the shot put with a 12.21m. Cordayr Brown highlighted the jumps with a PR of 6.40m in the long jump and teammate Daveyon Herron also had his own personal record, 5.91m.

Up next, BC will host the Battle of the Regions on Friday, February 13th with the first event starting at 11:00 AM.
