Renegade Men Finish Fourth at BC Invite

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College men's cross country team finished fourth at the BC Invite, with several runners setting personal records and contributing to a consistent team effort.

Freshman Edgar Gil led the way for the Renegades, finishing 19th overall with a time of 21:42.81. Close behind was fellow freshman Antonio Torres, who crossed the line in 22nd place (21:52.61, PR). Sophomore Alexis Aguilar finished strong in 24th (22:01.31), followed by freshman Jacob Quezada in 26th (22:17.58).

Freshman Daniel Cuevas added a solid effort, placing 37th (22:40.59), while William Hernandez notched a personal best with a 23:54.83 finish for 58th place. Rounding out BC's lineup were Orlando Zuniga (61st, 24:15.97, PR), Adrian Rodriguez (73rd, 25:15.75, PR), Josue Valladares (84th, 27:03.07), and Jose Ayala Rodriguez (101st, 31:46.05, PR).

Up next, BC will travel to LA Pierce College for the Western State Conference Championships on October 24th.
