VENTURA, CA - The Bakersfield women's track and field team saw several strong performances highlighted by top-five finishes across multiple events.

In the sprints, Marilu Flores led the way with a third-place finish in the 200m (27.46) and added a runner-up finish in the 400m with a personal-best 1:02.97.

In the distance events, Sofia Moody paced the Renegades with a second-place finish in the 1500m (5:09.53) and another runner-up effort in the 3000m (11:48.41). She was joined by a strong group effort in the 3000m, where Mia Leisenfelder (3rd), Addyson Eggers (4th), and Alexis Lopez (5th, PB) all placed in the top five.

Bakersfield also had representation in the field events, as Karly Mundy recorded a fifth-place finish in the shot put (9.73m) and added a fourth-place mark in the discus (27.57m). Mundy continued her solid day with another fourth-place finish in the hammer throw (32.80m), while teammate A'leya Bell secured fifth with a personal best.
