BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College volleyball closed out its regular-season home slate in dominant fashion Friday night, sweeping Citrus College in straight sets (25–13, 25–22, 25–20) inside the Renegade Athletic Center.
The Renegades delivered one of their most balanced performances of the season, hitting .192 as a team while maintaining control from start to finish. Alexandra Watts led the charge offensively with 12 kills on an impressive .478 hitting percentage, while Maya Barron added 12 kills, 15 assists, and 7 digs for an all-around standout performance.
Setter Taylor Drake kept the offense flowing with 14 assists and 9 digs, while Chloe Lopez anchored the back row with a team-high 17 digs. At the net, Ruby Hawkins and Watts combined for 7 total blocks, helping the Renegades stifle the Owls' attack throughout the night.
With the win, Bakersfield improves to 9–17 overall and 6–6 in conference play, closing the regular season. BC will play its crossover match on November 14th at 6:00 PM, opponent will be known soon.
